Immediate opening: powder coating technician (California)

Now hiring: we are hiring a powder coating technician in Sierra County, California. What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • 1-2 years experience in powder coating or spray painting • Able to operate electrostatic spray guns and curing ovens Day-to-day duties: • Check dry film thickness with a DFT gauge in microns • Pre-treat parts through phosphating and rinse tanks • Mask off threads, holes and machined faces with caps and tape • Hang components on jigs and conveyor hooks for even coverage • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Sieve and load powder into the spray gun hopper Overtime paid at a premium rate.
