Vacancy available: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Jones County, North Carolina. Day-to-day duties: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
