Pipe tig welder wanted in Brown County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Brown County, Nebraska. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters. Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Own basic hand tools and PPE At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
