Heavy equipment operator • Borough of Bolton, England

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Borough of Bolton, England. You will work in an open-cast quarry. Day-to-day duties: • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage Ideal candidate: • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Confident working to fine grade and tight tolerances • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site Part-time with flexible hours.
