Stainless steel welder — Concordia Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Concordia Parish, Louisiana. You will be based at a busy sheet-metal workshop. Requirements: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height On a typical shift you will set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding.
