Day-to-day duties: • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position Requirements: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear • Confident with standard crane hand signals At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
