Power press operator wanted in Monmouth County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a power press operator in Monmouth County, New Jersey. The job is at a white goods manufacturing plant. On the job you will handle: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting What we are looking for: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Part-time with flexible hours.
