Gas meter installer — Black Hawk County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Black Hawk County, Iowa. The role involves: • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points Requirements: • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces • Able to read isometric and site drawings Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $3,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
