Rebar fixer • McHenry County, North Dakota

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar fixer in McHenry County, North Dakota. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. On the job you will handle: • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing You should have: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
