You should have: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm Day-to-day duties: • Check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet • Top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
