Join our team: we are hiring a bakery assistant in Crawford County, Missouri. You will prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials; score the top of loaves before baking; check finished products for colour, crumb and weight. Requirements: • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
