Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welder in Grainger County, Tennessee. You will work at an automotive body and exhaust shop. Day to day you will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal; clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Requirements: • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage We offer $5,300 per month plus benefits. Full-time, day shift.
