Now hiring: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Johnson County, Nebraska. Your main tasks: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork You should have: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota 2+ years on the tools preferred.
