The role involves vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone; weigh, price and label cuts for the display case; portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Full-time with occasional weekends.
