Now hiring: we are hiring a dough maker in Wiltshire, England. Ideal candidate: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Your main tasks: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
