Now hiring: vertical transportation technician (South Carolina)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Lexington County, South Carolina. On a typical shift you will test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy. What we are looking for: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
