Vacancy available: press shop operator (Scotland)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a press shop operator in Shetland Islands, Scotland. You will work at a busy press shop. You should have: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses The role involves: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
