Fabricator-welder wanted in Okanogan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Okanogan County, Washington. You will work on an industrial construction site. What we are looking for: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium Day to day you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal.
