Milling machinist • Walton County, Florida

Great opportunity: we are hiring a milling machinist in Walton County, Florida. You will be based at a fabrication and machining plant. On the job you will handle: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer $5,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
