Foundry labourer • Union County, New Jersey

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Union County, New Jersey. The job is in the fettling and dressing shop. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection Day to day you will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. We offer $20 per hour plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
