Immediate opening: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Douglas County, Kansas. You will work on a busy residential building site. Requirements: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) The role involves: • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
