Immediate opening: we are hiring a press setter operator in Borough of Tameside, England. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. Requirements: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges The role involves: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation 5+ years on the tools preferred.
