Great opportunity: we are hiring a horticulturist in Aberdeen City, Scotland. The job is in a botanical garden. Day to day you will prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; plant seasonal bedding plants, bulbs and saplings; maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; operate strimmers, leaf blowers and brush cutters; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for bending, lifting and long hours outdoors • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
