Ideal candidate: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Your main tasks: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Record output and downtime on the production sheet Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
