Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Hunt County, Texas. On a typical shift you will run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor. You should have: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
