What we are looking for: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics The role involves: • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays • Install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway • Service the traction motor, brake and gearbox • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Full-time with occasional weekends.
