Site safety steward wanted in North Northamptonshire

We are recruiting: we are hiring a site safety steward in North Northamptonshire, England. You will be based at a manufacturing plant. Day to day you will check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates; enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment. What we are looking for: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training £2,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
