Requirements: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight The role involves run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions.
