Automotive electrical technician — DeKalb County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an automotive electrical technician in DeKalb County, Illinois. You will work at a roadside auto repair shop. You will test batteries, alternators and starter motors with a multimeter; read and clear ECU fault codes; trace and fix short circuits and earthing faults; replace blown fuses, relays and faulty switches; read wiring diagrams and trace circuits. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of CAN-bus and modern ECU systems • Able to work under the dashboard and bonnet for long periods Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
