Groundsman — City of Richmond

Vacancy available: we are hiring a groundsman in City of Richmond, Virginia. You will be based in a residential garden complex. Requirements: • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting You will maintain compost heaps and the potting shed; repot nursery stock and pot on cuttings; apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; water beds and lawns and set up drip irrigation lines. 2+ years on the tools preferred. $250 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
