Argon welder • Fisher County, Texas

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Fisher County, Texas. You will work at a stainless steel fabrication shop. You will feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings 3+ years on the tools preferred.
