Sample machinist • Blaine County, Oklahoma

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sample machinist in Blaine County, Oklahoma. You will work in a small denim manufacturing unit. On a typical shift you will thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes. Requirements: • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
