Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Jackson County, Georgia. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard The role involves: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer 4+ years on the tools preferred.
