Stainless steel welder wanted in West Dunbartonshire

Join our team: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. We offer £3,150 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
