Gas commissioning technician — Anchorage Municipality

Immediate opening: we are hiring a gas commissioning technician in Anchorage Municipality, Alaska. Day to day you will braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections. Requirements: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
