We are recruiting: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Solano County, California. Requirements: • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls On a typical shift you will measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; write and edit G-code programs at the control; change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
