Gas meter installer wanted in Potter County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Potter County, Pennsylvania. The job is at a busy gas installation company. The role involves: • Thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints You should have: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces Six days a week, one day off. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
