Powder coating line operator — Grant County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a powder coating line operator in Grant County, Kansas. The job is in a busy paint shop. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working in a masked, ventilated booth • Keen eye for finish quality and surface defects Day-to-day duties: • Apply an even powder coat with the electrostatic spray gun • Stack and pack finished parts without scratching the coat • Set the electrostatic gun voltage (kV) and powder flow • Reclaim and sieve overspray powder for reuse • Keep parts properly earthed so the powder transfers well • Degrease and clean metal parts before coating Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
