Your main tasks: • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota Full-time, day shift.
