Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Greene County, Pennsylvania. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Your main tasks: • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings Part-time with flexible hours.
