Immediate opening: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Greensville County, Virginia. The job is at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Part-time with flexible hours.
