Immediate opening: we are hiring a tracked excavator operator in Allegan County, Michigan. The job is on a housing development site. Requirements: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones On the job you will handle: • Backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly • Swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
