Join our team: we are hiring a steel erection rigger in Union County, Mississippi. You will be based at a container port. You will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; read lift plans and method statements before starting. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket 1+ years on the tools preferred.
