Gypsum plasterer wanted in Gregg County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gypsum plasterer in Gregg County, Texas. You will work at a new-build housing development. The role involves: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Mix gypsum plaster and cement render to a workable consistency • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work • Float and rule off walls to a flat surface with a straightedge Requirements: • Knowledge of different plasters, renders and bonding agents • Able to mix plaster to the right consistency by feel • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
