Immediate opening: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Jefferson Davis Parish, Louisiana. You will work on a busy housing site. The role involves brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. Ideal candidate: • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
