Urgent requirement: single needle operator (Scotland)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a single needle operator in West Lothian, Scotland. You will attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line. What we are looking for: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
