Crane rigger • Houston County, Alabama

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crane rigger in Houston County, Alabama. You will be based on a high-rise building site. Requirements: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Day-to-day duties: • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
