Day to day you will trace electrical circuits with a multimeter; replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture. You should have: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • Valid driving licence for field call-outs • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Rotating shifts.
