Garment presser wanted in Rutherford County

Join our team: we are hiring a garment presser in Rutherford County, North Carolina. The job is in a busy laundry. Day-to-day duties: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics • Give each garment a final press before packing • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board Requirements: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
