Immediate opening: we are hiring a steel fixer in Brewster County, Texas. The job is on a commercial tower construction site. The role involves: • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers • Bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer $3,800 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
